Kaima Hukuk Farm Make a fast, secure, and tax-deductible donation today Kaima Hukuk is a non-profit, therapeutic farm that provides a safe space for young Israelis in search of alternative social and educational frameworks. Within our fields, using nature as our teacher, we provide our young farmers with opportunities to make better life choices by learning new skills; preparing for the workforce, interacting in positive ways with both their peers and adults; feeding the community, and joining our professional staff in teaching the public the inherent value of sustainable farming and seasonal agricultural consumption. Our founders chose Kaima ("sustainability" in Aramaic) as our name because we believe in merging our love of the land with our obligation to help redirect boys and girls whose lives have been derailed by offering the tools to help them empower themselves as full partners in creating positive personal and social change. Indeed, within approximately four to six months, the majority of our participants return to traditional classrooms, boarding schools, or night schools; and/or enter rehab for the first time. We support ourselves through a three-pronged financial model based on 1) agricultural sales generated at appreciable levels; 2) support from government partners; and 3) limited but essential philanthropy.
