Ruach Tzeira

The Ruach Tzeira ("Young Spirit" in Hebrew) program is an interdisciplinary educational program for high school students in grades 10-12 equivalent to a matriculation examination in the humanities. Designed specifically for excellent students, the program focuses on reading the most important and prominent texts of Western culture, from all fields of the Humanities. We offer the program at several locations throughout the country, including the metropolitan centers as well as the more remote areas: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Gedera, Rishon Letzion, Karmiel, and Kinneret. Further, two 'nation-wide' groups are operated via distance learning. Ruach Tzeira is an invaluable resource for students whose curiosity and thirst for knowledge are not satisfied by their high school education. As well as comprehensive learning, the groups provide meaningful social opportunities for the students to meet peers with whom they share similar interests and to put into action their enthusiasm for reading, writing, and debate at a high level.
