Alin Beit Noam

Beit Noam Association (formerly known as Avraham’s Institution) has been operating since 1941 supporting individuals with disabilities. The Association works towards making a difference in the Israeli community’s perception of the disabled population, in their quality of life, and the attitude of society towards them, in the spirit of the Equal Rights Law(1988). The main activities of the association are located in Kiryat Ono. There they offer a variety of services for adults with severe physical and cognitive disabilities. They are provided with a rehabilitative, occupational and social, day time center, while providing each individual with a full and satisfying life. The association also offers residential services to the day center members. In addition to the services offered to the day time members, the association also offers services to the general population, which including: “net chaver” project, assessment alternative supportive communications, giving lectures and meetings in the field of disability studies, treatments in the centres rehabilitation pool, as well as providing options for holding events in the Beit Noam hall. The association offers consulting services to the general public. These days the association is establishing a neighbourhood of ultimate possibilities, a groundbreaking neighbourhood built in the Sharon area that will be used by people with and without disabilities alike.
