The Standby Squad: Guardians of Ga'aton's Security

Help Israel now: joining together to protect the northern border in kibbutz Ga'aton Ga'aton (Hebrew: גַּעְתּוֹן) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in western Galilee, just about 5.5 miles from the Lebanese border, and surrounded by Arab settlements. It was established in October 1948 in the hills east of Nahariya by a group of Jewish immigrants from Hungary who survived WWII. Nestled in a challenging location, it has overcome countless threats and thrived. Kibbutz Ga'aton is also the home of 300 families and the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC). The company's dance groups participate in some 200 annual performances in Israel and overseas. The Standby Squad: Guardians of Ga'aton's Security In response, the kibbutz's Standby Squad, Israeli military professionals actively serving by protecting their kibbutz community, provide round-the-clock surveillance and security to ensure the safety and well-being of the Kibbutz and its inhabitants. Their commitment and vigilance have been crucial in ensuring the safety of Ga’Aton's residents.
