Doors of Our Heart

The rabbis and rabbaniyot of Beit Hillel lovingly present mezuzahs dedicated by bereaved families to commemorate their loved ones. The Simchat Torah attack was an event in which doors were broken, houses were desecrated, and now the people of Israel are fighting for the security of our homes. The project connects Israeli families around the mitzvah of the mezuzah, by reestablishing a safe home and placing the common Jewish base for all of us at its doors. Your donation will enable us to purchase more mezuzot, which will be given as a gift to hundreds of families who need them with a dedication in memory of the fallen. Each mezuzah expresses the belief in repair and return to homes destroyed, out of the strength of the spirit of the deep Jewish tradition that lives within us.
