Life will win!

In times of war, it is forbidden to forget the Holocaust survivors and the elderly who suffer from hunger, especially on Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day. This is our day each year to pause the daily frenzy of our lives and reflect on the remaining Holocaust survivors among us. The 'Iron Blades' war did not contribute to the already dire situation of Holocaust survivors in the country. As a result of the war and new budgetary measures by the government, we face thousands of new requests for assistance and support. Unfortunately, thousands have fallen below the poverty line and are in genuine distress. The war not only deepened their economic crisis but also led to a profound psychological crisis, triggering memories of the harsh Holocaust experiences they endured in the past. Today, they face daily existential anxiety and suffer from hunger, bringing back haunting memories. The nightmare they precisely sought to avoid drove them to immigrate here. They barely survived the Holocaust, and now, in 2024, they are barely surviving hunger and destitution. It's time for each of us to stand by their side and support them – to provide them with nutritional security and warm embrace, to be their support and family in these challenging years of their lives. The organization 'Living with Dignity' provides comprehensive and embracing support to Holocaust survivors. For over 30 years, we have operated with the help of thousands of volunteers across the country, expanding our support each year. This year, given the harsh consequences of the war, we are committed to extending our activities to the north and south of the country. We are establishing assistance systems both in the north and south so that no Holocaust survivor sleeps on an empty stomach. Help us reach the hungry and set up kitchens that will cook and warm their hearts, from the north to the south. In addition to the support needed for the establishment of new kitchens, we still lack 2 million meals for all those in need. Now is the time for all of us to fight hunger together and win! Join us in the victory! Together, let's bring back their smiles, warmth, and embrace. Let's unite for their sake. They are tired of wars, and they deserve to live their lives with dignity. It depends only on us – the good people – you, me, and everyone who will not leave them alone in this war.
