On a trip after the army to Australia, they happened to enter the Chabad home of the Sulavin family and immediately fell in love. They planned on staying for 3 days and stayed for 3 months. And became an inseparable part of the family and all the activities of the Chabad home, they helped make cookies on Purim and went to cheer up sick patients in a hospital.
In Kibbutz Nir Oz They married and built their home and their children Arbel Shahar and Omer were born. John and Tamari lived a full, happy life full of hope, love and giving. And something that they always said was" always be happy"
Tamar was a social activist and from a young age too, making a difference in everything she touched. A brave leader, who recently also ran for the presidency of the Eshkol Regional Council. A hardworking, smart, creative, innovative, entrepreneurial woman and an educator at heart and soul. She believed that everything is possible and every problem is just a challenge to solve. And there is no problem that has no solution. She advocated and promoted a common good - transparency and a variety of opinions and discourse of people in order to achieve success. A Woman who brought light and hope to everyone she knew, "Hope is contagious" was the slogan that accompanied her. Tamar, Yonathan, Arbel, Shahar Omer and grandmother Carol Siman Tov, may they rest in peace were a special family, always smiling, full of moral and of goodness and joy. They will always be remembered in our hearts. The writing of the Sefer Torah in loving memory for them (by Rabbi Sheinberger's grandson) is a natural closure for Simchat Torah, since they were ahappy, pure, nature-loving family, with pleasant ways. Like the Torah, "Their way was the way of Noam, and all their paths were peace"
