The Movement for Public Journalism is an Israeli grassroots social movement led by senior journalists and creates investigative journalism with the public and for the public. It publishes HAITON, a daily Hebrew newsletter with more than 12,000 subscribers that curates the best Israeli journalism on social issues, and has an English weekly edition. The movement has a special program that gives young adults the opportunity to contribute to society by working with leading journalists from the most prominent media outlets in Israel. The movement also developed an innovative method of creating local journalism based on civic participation. The Movement for Public Journalism. The activities of the movement are being executed in partnership with the non-profit organization KEHILLA.
