Perform the Mitzva of the Half Shekel, by strengthening Jewish Sovereignty on the Temple Mount!
By Beyadenu for the Temple Mount
This year, contribute your "Half Shekel" to the real cause.
Donors: 23
This is what everyone who is entered in the records shall pay: a half-shekel by the sanctuary weight—twenty gerahs to the shekel—a half-shekel as an offering to Hashem
Exodus 30:13
This year, contribute your "Half Shekel" to the real cause.
While the Temple was standing, half a shekel was collected from every Jew for public sacrifices and the maintenance of the Temple. In our time, before we have built the Third Temple and until we merit doing so, the goal of the donation is to strengthen the connection of the people of Israel to the Temple Mount and our ancient heritage.
This year, you can contribute your "Half Shekel" to "Beyadenu - Returning to the Temple Mount,” and organization dedicated to restoring Jewish sovereignty to the Temple Mount.
With your donation, we can continue to work for the Jewish sovereignty on the Temple Mount:
- Expand our education project: provide proper instruction and education to every Jew who ascends the Temple Mount about the importance and sanctity of the site.
- Deepen and strengthen awareness about the Temple Mount in the Israeli public.
- Strive for equality and the cessation of discrimination on the Temple Mount: expand the ascent hours, open all gates of the Temple Mount to Jews, and abolish the ban on prayer.
- Monitor and address any damage to the antiquities on the Temple Mount.
- Monitor and address the desecration of the sanctity of the Temple Mount in football games and graffiti.
In the past year, with your donations, we have achieved:
- Education and Training:
- Reached a record number of ascents in one year - 51,404 Jews in the year 5782 - thousands of Jews ascended the Temple Mount with our help and received our guidance!
- Organized ascents of settlements: Bat Ayin, Neve Daniel, Tekoa, and Nokdim (in cooperation with the Gush Etzion Regional Council, which provided subsidized transportation - the second year in a row!), as well as Ma'ale Adumim.
- Approximately 40 participants in another round of the Temple Mount Course that has just ended; some of the instructors have already integrated into the organization's guidance course
- Provided lectures and tours on the Temple Mount to around 300 yeshiva and seminary students, 90 school children, and an additional 250 preparatory school students!
- Hosted the Aliyah Har HaBayit conference in memory of the founder of the Temple Mount Faithful Movement, Gershon Salomon, with around 200 participants, and inaugurated the Education Fund in his memory to continue his legacy.
