Beit Midrash for Life – a study circle and religious community group for university students.

Beit Midrash for Life" has evolved into a network of study centers for university students at Ben-Gurion Ariel, Bar-Ilan, and Jerusalem universities. Their establishment and operation reflect a profound belief that the Torah serves as a compass for life—a guide that provides direction across all spheres of practical endeavor. Together, we are building and fostering a generation that remains connected to and driven by the world of Torah, even as they engage in active professional and public life. Many young men and women—graduates of pre-military academies, *Hesder* and higher *yeshivot*, *midrashot*, and National Service—venture into academia and the professional world. At university, they encounter a different environment, a different discourse and culture, and sometimes even a confusing value system; beyond this, a painful sense of isolation often sets in. Four years of operating this network of *Batei Midrash* (study centers) have taught us that while most of these young people wish to maintain a Torah-centered life, the heavy academic workload makes it difficult. Alongside their demanding studies, they need a space that bridges these worlds—a place offering Torah study, *chavruta* (partnered study), a sense of belonging, faith, and meaning. "Beit Midrash for Life" was established for precisely this purpose. "Beit Midrash L'Chaim" (Study Hall for Life) was established for precisely this purpose. These study centers operate at the heart of university campuses, offering students a meaningful Torah-study framework, a warm and inclusive community, and classes that address both Torah teachings and the real-life questions facing our generation. It is a place where one can continue to grow as a Torah-committed individual, build character, and become a person of action who remains connected to the world of Torah. Our vision is to help university students continue developing their engagement with Torah during their academic years, while remaining connected to a social circle where the world of Torah thrives—both during their studies and beyond. To keep opening doors for hundreds of young people, expand our activities, and reach more campuses and students, we need you.
