Warm Corner in Rimonim

About six months ago we lost our dearest father. We thought about the best way to commemorate his wonderful life and continue his path in the best way. Our father worked with IDF soldiers all his life; Whether it was a soldier who he just met once or whether it was a soldier who needed more comprehensive help - our father was there by his side. He served as a "father" to many soldiers throughout his life, from the moment he enlisted until he died. People knew him as "Babi", “Father”, a nickname given to him at the base where he served. One of the projects he was always dedicated to was hosting soldiers and providing them with hot food and drinks. There wasn’t a soldier who came to our area and didn't know who "Itzik Cohen" was or what his phone number was. Now that he is no longer with us, we have decided to establish a Warm Corner in his memory that will serve as a home for soldiers in the community of Rimonim and will continue his amazing work. "Babi's Warm Corner" will serve as a place to refresh and rest for all the soldiers patrolling in the area. We will provide food and drinks to the soldiers to express our gratitude for all that they do. In addition, the soldiers meet in Rimonim before they go out on missions. Now they will have a proper place to get ready before going out to protect the citizens of Israel. Currently, there is no such Warm Corner for the soldiers in the area. There is a great need for it. This Warm Corner is one of the projects of Yashar LaChayal, which currently operates 42 Warm Corners throughout the country. We need your help to make this possible!
