Tales of Home

By Ein Dor Museum

An Art Exhibition at Ein Dor Museum

Ends: 09:00

Five artists representing the social and cultural diversity of Israel as a whole, and the Galilee in particular, collaborate in a shared space, each sharing their unique perspective on the concept of home - its complexity, simplicity, and absence. In a single exhibition space divided into five small rooms, each artist will receive their own space. In this space, they will express through their artwork their own story and that of their home. The similarities are clear: a woman, an artist, and a resident of the Galilee. Yet, the differences are many. The artists belong to five different religions/cultures: Circassian, Druze, Christian, Muslim, and Jewish. Five women from completely different backgrounds, different settlement patterns, different artistic fields, different worldviews, different criticisms, and entirely different (yet sometimes similar) approaches to the concept of home.
