KIEDF Emergency Loan Fund

For Small Businesses Affected By the War

Ends: 21:00

Israel’s small businesses, the backbone of the economy, have been ravaged by the ongoing war with Hamas and Hezbollah. Many suffered direct physical damage in the attacks of October 7 and others have been affected since by the lack of tourism, widespread reserves call ups and other externalities of the war. To help these small businesses back on their feet so that the Israeli economy can recover, KIEDF has established an Emergency Loan Fund to provide ultra-low interest loans to small businesses impacted by the war. Customers are identified by KIEDF's team and references from partner organizations, including Leket Israel (the leading food rescue organization with close ties to the agricultural sector.) Our efforts to support farmers who have been affected by the war, is under the memory of Sergeant David Schwartz, who tragically lost his life during IDF reserve duty. KIEDF manages the loans process which includes underwriting, transferring funds to customers and collecting repayment.  Since launching in January, we have been overwhelmed by the demand from the field. In order to meet the growing need, we ask for your support in order to reach the populations most in need.
