Moshe and Eliad Ohion, father and son from Ofakim, left their home to fight terrorists who infiltrated the city of Ofakim and fell together in the battle for the protection of Ofakim on Simchat Torah Tashpad 7.10.2023.
Moshe, served until the fall of 929 as the CEO of Project 929 and worked to make Bible studies accessible, as the chairman of the Shaharit organization, director of a leadership and entrepreneurship program for educators, and more. Moshe was one of the most prominent social activists in the city of Ofakim, where he lived with his family and worked in many programs for social change in the south and throughout the country.
Eliad, was all heart, with endless energies, full of joy of life, volunteered over the years in associations for children with special needs and cancer patients. A true friend for campers and their parents.
Eliad was 23 years old when he died and Moshe was 52 years old and left behind his parents, 5 sisters and a brother, his wife Sarit and four children.
For the uplifting of their souls, we are writing a Torah book and invite you to take part so that we can complete the task.
With God's help, the introduction of the Torah book will be in preparation for Simchat Torah at the synagogue in the branch in the Hagafen branch near the place of their fall.
They were partners with us in writing the Torah book and bringing it in.
The donation is recognized for tax purposes according to section 46.
