IN-HOME SHELTERS FOR KIBBUTZ GVULOT

ABOUT US  We, members of the North American group that moved to Kibbutz Gvulot in the late 70's, remain committed to the dreams, hopes and safety of the kibbutz - especially after the Hamas attack on October 7th. OUR STORY  Gvulot is a small kibbutz in the western Negev desert, 12 kilometers from the Gaza border. They are not entitled to receive full funding from the government for the construction of IN-HOME SHELTERS since only communities that are within the 7 kilometer range are eligible.   As such, Gvulot's residents are unprotected. Their safety is paramount and without safe rooms, many families, especially with young children, are unable to return to a life of normalcy and heal properly.  OUR MISSION  THE BUILDING OF IN-HOME SHELTERS is a very important and necessary project for Gvulot, and we would like to contribute to their preparedness for what might come in the future and to their feeling of security in general.   OUR GOAL  We are seeking to raise $36,000 towards this effort.  REFUGIOS HOGAREÑOS PARA EL KIBUTZ GVULOT- PROTEGIENDO NUESTRAS FAMILIAS Y HOGARE ACERCA DE NOSOTROS  Nosotros, miembros del grupo estadounidense que emigro al Kibbutz Gvulot a finales de los años 70, seguimos comprometidos con los sueños, las esperanzas y la seguridad del kibutz, especialmente después del ataque de Hamas el 7 de octubre.  NUESTRA HISTORIA  Gvulot es un pequeño kibutz en el desierto occidental del Néguev, a 12 kilómetros de la frontera de Gaza. No tienen derecho a recibir financiación completa del gobierno para la construcción de REFUGIOS HOGAREÑOS, ya que solo las comunidades que se encuentran dentro del radio de 7 kilómetros pueden optar a ellos.  Por ello, los residentes de Gvulot están desprotegidos. Su seguridad es primordial y, sin recintos de seguridad, muchas familias, especialmente con niños pequeños, no pueden volver a una vida normal ni recuperarse adecuadamente.  NUESTRA MISION  LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE REFUGIOS HOGAREÑOS es un proyecto primordial y necesario para Gvulot, y nos gustaría contribuir a su preparación hacia el futuro y la sensación seguridad en general.  NUESTRO OBJETIVO  Estamos buscando recaudar 36,000 US $ para este esfuerzo.
