Abby Mendelson - Sandwiches for Children of Enlisted Soldiers & Needy Kids

Of course CNN overlooks them.  As does The New York Times.  And all the other major news outlets. Thousands of Israeli children.  Bereft.  Bewildered. Exhausted.  Frightened.  Displaced from their homes, some for a year now. I'm returning next month to help them, again, for the third time this year.  To stand for hours at a time, making sandwiches, packing food, preparing meals. For people who need it the most. People who've lost their homes and their jobs. People who can barely feed their own children. I know that in the Jewish world this is the worst time to ask for money.  We are all beset with pleas, every one from a good cause. Nevertheless, I'm asking you, as the war rages, and the enemies are relentless, the missiles haven't stopped, and thousands of families are dispossessed and displaced, and innocent children need a sandwich for lunch, would you please join me in donating to this astoundingly worthy cause?
