Emergency Campaign by the Social Bank for Babies’ Food In these challenging times, particularly along the northern border, many families are facing uncertainty and instability due to a complex security situation. Thousands have been evacuated from their homes, while others remain in damaged residences, and the local economy has taken a severe hit. Agriculture and tourism, the pillars of the regional economy, have nearly collapsed. Amidst this challenging reality, many infants are in urgent need of proper nutrition. The current situation has created a dual crisis for numerous families in the North: those already facing economic hardships find themselves in even greater distress, while families that previously managed well are suddenly in need of assistance due to job loss, evacuations, or property damage. The fear of an escalating conflict only adds to the uncertainty and the need for immediate support. Many families simply cannot afford to purchase babies food or other essential supplies for their infants. This has put their children’s health and well-being at serious risk, creating an urgent need for assistance. The Social Bank for Babies Food has been dedicated to providing essential nutrition and supplies to infants from needy families for over a decade. In response to the current emergency, we are expanding our efforts to support the urgent needs of infants in the North, especially along the border. Recognizing the broader impact of the crisis, we are also extending our assistance to entire families, including those without infants, who are in dire straits. We urgently call upon you to help ensure the health and well-being of these vulnerable infants. Every contribution, no matter how small, can transform despair into hope for a family in the North. Our goal is to raise 1.5 million NIS to provide food baskets and essential supplies for hundreds of infants throughout the duration of the conflict. Each basket will include formula, diapers, wipes, and other vital items necessary for healthy development. Additionally, we will provide food baskets worth 500 NIS for families in need, containing essential supplies to help them through this critical period. Together, we can ensure that even in the toughest times, every infant and family in the North receives the nutrition and care they deserve.
