The Future Generation Fund was founded by the late Mr. M. Abelson, and has been operating for over 35 years. The Foundation is a non-profit organization, working according to Israel accounting laws with a management permit valid until 2025. It works according to section 46 of Income Tax Guidelines ID 580077238 Institution No. 550077234 The Future Generation fund set two goals for itself: One - to help youth from needy families in financing urgent basic needs, in order to promote their education, prevent his deterioration, and allow him to integrate as a useful citizen in society. The second – Giving financial assistance to underprivileged families, to finance a specific and urgent need which has no funding from any other source. We receive direct inquiries from social bureaus, pedagogical consultants, and school administrators, which include details about teenagers or a family that need financing for a certain need,as well as the details of the requested assistance. After checking the references, we transfer them the required amount in response to the request for assistance. Many have the willingness and ability to contribute but do not know how to reach and locate families and teenagers who need help. We are the link between the donors and those in need, and through us, the donations arrive directly for those who need it. The founder of the foundation, which is a non-profit organization, the entrepreneur, and the living spirit of it was the late Mr. Meir Abelson, who survived a plane crash while serving as a pilot in the British Air Force, immigrated to Israel, and since then has devoted his entire life to voluntary work among youth in the neighborhoods of Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh and Karmiel .Meir Abelson won many awards. - his fatherly personality, his professionalism, his understanding, and his complete dedication to his life's mission - connected him with thousands of teenagers, in their teenage years, and helped them overcome financial, mental, and other difficulties. All members serving the foundations are volunteers. During the current war, the association is helping underprivileged youth and families that do not receive funding from any other source financing their urgent basic needs. The assistance is given based on inquiries and requests from professionals (social workers) who are in direct contact with the supported person. Today our help goes to soldiers and to people evacuated from their home in the south and in the north. We help the soldiers to acquire warm underwear, coats, socks, portable batteries for telephones, headlamps, pocketknives, first aid kits, tents, raincoats, and hot food. We also helped the project of the 360-degree cameras for tanks that are at the front of the fighting. The cost of equipping each tank is NIS 5800 The help for the evacuees included baby equipment, baby food, clothing, stationery for school students, and games. Our donors in Israel have so far been able to fund NIS162,589. We are looking for additional funding of our projects for our soldiers and the evacuees and to fund our "normal" goals. We guarantee that all donations will go 100% to the recipients.
