Since 2014, Israeli Friends of Ukraine has been the largest and most active organization in Israel, representing the interests of Ukrainians living in Israel, Israelis from Ukraine, and Israeli and foreign citizens loyal to Ukraine. With the support of Israeli, Ukrainian, and international partners, we have been involved in the design and execution of numerous humanitarian projects, including the treatment of wounded Ukrainian soldiers in Israel, sending humanitarian aid, conducting educational programs, and organizing cultural activities. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian military forces, we have successfully raised approximately 1.3 million NIS to meet the needs of the Ukrainian people enduring the ravages of war. Additionally, we have dispatched 120 tons of Humanitarian Aid in 20 air shipments, comprising medicine, first aid kits, bandages, hygiene products, clothing, baby formulas, and camping equipment (such as sleeping bags, food warmers, water purifiers, etc.). As of October 7, 2023, our organization has expanded its activities towards a critical cause: providing vital assistance to the victims of terror in the South of Israel and contributing to the well-being of Israeli soldiers on the frontlines. Our volunteers are dedicated to offering immediate support and relief to those affected. This includes securing accommodations for families who have lost their homes and need safer places to stay, providing hot meals to IDF soldiers and those in need, and gathering donations to purchase essential necessities for large groups of reservists who have been called into duty. In these challenging moments for both Israel and Ukraine, we stand united with the Ukrainian community of Israel, propelled by compassion, solidarity, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of both Ukrainians and our fellow Israeli citizens.
