Yeshivat Hashem Roi - Beis Knesset Zichron Moshe

We learn in Pirkei Avos that the world has its foundation on three things: Torah, tefillah, and gemilas chasadim. Amutat Yeshivat Hashem Roi which has at its center, Bais Knesses Zichron Moshe, under the leadership of Rabbi Royale Schonbrun, has become a center of all three. Zichron Moshe is a unique shul, in which everyone can feel welcome and at home: Ashkenazim, sefardim, Charedim, dati leumi. It is much more than a place to daven: it is a major center of Yiddishkeit in Har Nof in which everyone feels he belongs. In addition to the many minyanim we have every day, we have a plethora of shiurim being given, from parshas hashavua to daf yomi and others in between. And this year we have been able to expand our activities in the worlds of harbatzas haTorah and gemilas chasadim, with much more on the way. In the world of harbatzas ha Torah, we began the publication of a weekly Torah magazine on the parsha of the week, a publication which is distributed to multiple shuls in Har Nof and via electronic media to thousands around the world. We have also recently begun a new on- line series called Analyzing Chazal, in which we attempt to transmit the special skills to be able to analyze the words of chazal, to begin to understand the deeper concepts of the Torah that relate to our daily lives. This is also widely distributed to thousands every week. On the Chesed front, we have raised money for the benefit of our chayalim, hachnasas kallah, and needy individuals and families. And now, we can introduce our latest chesed project: “Soon by You,” an organization designed to assist singles, especially older singles, to find their match with the assistance of a group of specially trained shadchanim and dating coaches who will hopefully make the dating process for these individuals as smooth as possible, thus giving these singles the confidence to date successfully which will be starting God willing in the coming year. Obviously, to continue and expand these activities, we need sufficient funds.
