Manner of Discourse

Manner of Discourse (Ofen Ha Siach, in Hebrew) is an Israeli organization dedicated to reducing the polarization in Israeli society.  We aim to address this issue, first and foremost, by defining polarization and manner of discourse as a national problem. We borrow our strategy from the fields of business planning and change management and aim to bring change in an organized manner, and foster partnership and shared responsibility across all institutions and  sectors of Israeli society. Our advisors and external consultants include  experts from a wide range of relevant fields, including communications, change management and public policy. Manner of Discourse was founded by Nitzan Lipshitz after son Lavi Lipshitz Z"L was killed in the Gaza War on October 31st, 2023. Since then, Nitzan is dedicated to this cause full time.
