Look Them in the Eyes

ELEM has been working tirelessly for at-risk teens and youth in Israel for over 40 years. The events of October 7th, and the repercussions of the Swords of Iron war have brought a difficult new reality to Israelis. A reality we have yet to experience. Tens of thousands of teenagers from the North and the south have been evacuated from their homes, experienced direct or indirect trauma, and most have joined the circle of risk. ELEM's annual report for 2024 shows an alarming picture: %45 of teens report drinking alcohol %35 suffer from emotional distresses %30 are not attending school regularly %20 experienced violence outside the home Our youth are at risk, and we are there for them - but we need your help to reach our goal - to be the first aid for teenagers in Israel.
