Honoring Meitarim’s Founder Rabbi Melchior in his 70th Year

Since Rabbi Michael Melchior decided to join public life almost 30 years ago following the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin, he has served as an example to us all, humbly pursuing peace and unity amongst the Jewish people. As the visionary behind Meitarim, Rabbi Melchior drew on his community and public experience to create a platform for Israelis across the religious spectrum to learn and grow up together in integrated schools and communities throughout Israel, with an annual reach of tens of thousands. Meitarim’s networks- built upon strong foundations of support and mutual respect- rapidly galvanized in the face of the trauma and the tragedy that has befallen Israel since October 7th. Meitarim communities across Israel remain on the front lines of civil response, fostering inclusive national unity “Tikkun Olam” and increasing morale as we look to Israel’s future by instilling resilience in the younger generations.  We invite you to honor the special birthday of our Founder and President in the way he’ll most appreciate- with a thoughtful gift towards the work of Meitarim.
