The mitzvah of "Matanot L'evyonim" (gifts to the poor), which is observed on Purim, is one of the most beautiful social mitzvot of the Jewish people. This mitzvah allows us to think about others and bring joy to the poor on Purim. The Dor Ha'Atid Foundation distributes donated funds on Purim to families classified as "Grade A" by welfare services. These 250 families, unfortunately, struggle to survive to the point of having no bread to eat. Throughout the year, we respond to various requests from welfare authorities for these families, but on Purim, we come with food supplies and vouchers for purchasing food. We, the Dor Ha'Atid Foundation, distribute the donations according to lists received only from the welfare offices. The distribution is carried out by the organization's volunteers, who usually live near the Katamonim neighborhood and have been faithfully performing this distribution for years. We ensure in advance that the needy person is at home and that every donation reaches its destination. If you wish to give your "Matanot L'evyonim" funds on Purim itself, to truly poor people, let us be your messengers for this important mitzvah.
