Build a Bed

The Build a Bed project aims to provide beds to those in need while offering an educational and fulfilling experience to volunteers looking to do good! Participants work in teams to sand, stain, and construct wooden bed frames, and will then be delivered with a mattress to those in need. Just One Chesed will partner with social services in various communities in Israel to ensure the beds reach deserving homes. This initiative welcomes volunteers of all ages, including tourists, businesses for team building, school groups, families marking milestones, and youth organizations. A tax-deductible donation for each bed covers material costs, making it a rewarding activity that fosters new skills and goodwill.
