Refanah was established in 2014 to give cancer patients a short private vacation with their spouse and/or family members. Every year in Israel there are about 30,000 people diagnosed with cancer - it has really become a national epidemic. We all know that a normal life comes to an end with a cancer diagnosis. The patients and family members who accompany them spend hours in hospitals and yearn for a short break to breath fresh air and get stronger but find it difficult to finance this due to the financial damage associated with the disease.
