The Music Room Project in Memory of Captain Yahel Gazit, will be established for the children and youth of Kiryat Shmona by the 'BaKehila' organization and Yahel's family. Yahel served in a year of service with the BaKehila organization in Kiryat Shmona. True to his name, Yahel was a young man who radiated light to those around him. When he arrived in the city, he wanted to establish a music room and even taught some of the children to play the guitar. Yahel wrote songs and founded the band "White Noise" with his friends. After his year of service, he joind the army, become and officer, and at the Iron swards war, was killed as a platoon commander at the entrance to Sajaiya. In his song "My Fall," he wrote: "This is my final fall, now the destruction begins," and at the end of the song, he wrote, "Earth and home will come, and love will come too, even if it takes some time." The hope he left as a legacy, his love for Kiryat Shmona and its children, and his love for music are what we wish to bring to life through the establishment of a music room for the city's children as part of the city's recovery and revitalization. We believe that writing and music are healing and rehabilitating tools, and the best way to memorialize Yahel.
