For 70 years, it has cultivated diverse crops, operated a successful dairy farm, and symbolized resilience and hope. However, on October 7th, 2023, this beacon of strength faced unimaginable devastation: • Lives Lost: 15 residents were murdered, and 7 were taken hostage. • Agricultural Ruin: Fields burned, livestock slaughtered, and essential farming equipment destroyed. • Critical Damage: The kibbutz’s water and irrigation systems—vital to its survival—were severely damaged. Despite these challenges, the community of Kibbutz Nahal Oz refuses to give up.
