Torah Scroll in memory of Ilai Tzair z"l

We have started a campaign to honor the memory of Egoz commando fighter, Sergeant Ilai Tzair hy"d. Ilai was 20 when he was killed. A brother to Yael, Shilo and Nevo. He grew up in Kedar, and was raised in a warm and loving home that infused him with a love of the land and a love of Torah, and the importance of living with good values and character traits. It was not for nothing that Ilai championed the phrase: "A person should strive to be, and not to be seen." Ilai sacrificed his life in Operation Swords of Iron. It is thanks to him, and all heroes like him, that we are able to live in the land of Israel. This campaign, in partnership with Yashar LaChayal, is raising money to write a Torah scroll in his honor. We invite you to take part in this mitzvah that will help to keep his memory alive.
