Professor Adam Zertal Memorial Conference Fund

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the passing of Prof. Adam Zertal, Archaeologist at Haifa University, a conference is being planned for October 2025. Prof. Zertal conducted some of the most important archaeological projects ever undertaken in Israel including the excavations at Mt. Ebal, Narbata, and Al Ahwat, as well as the monumental Mannasseh Hill Country Survey. The survey discovered more than 3,000 archaeological sites in an area where less than 300 were previously known. The conference will include both biblical and archaeological topics relating to areas that Zertal’s work covered and will serve to highlight the invaluable lifetime effort of this great archaeologist and scholar. We are raising funds to cover the cost of the conference. Donations of any amount are welcome.
