Democracy – It’s in our hands That’s our message, our method, and our vision for 2025: to educate Israeli citizens and residents about democracy, how it works, and why it’s essential for our shared future. Teaching democratic principles with interactive educational activities, we start in kindergarten, continue through 12th grade, university, and even senior citizens. We also run informal educational programs and train activists & professionals. We work with Jews and Arabs, the north and the south, religious and secular, the social, geographic, and economic periphery. Educating for democracy ensures that Israel stays true to its democratic fiber. Using the “Betzavta - Adam Institute’s facilitation method”, learning abstract democratic principles is fun, relatable, and connected to our daily lives. After painful months of ongoing war, we see the great need to do our work—and the acute challenge to raise funds to do so.
