The day after the horrific events of October 7, 2023, Mosaica began to work, leveraging decades of trusted relationships and networks to help calm rising tensions across Israel. These relationships, forged with religious leaders, local governments, security personnel, and community activists, have been instrumental in addressing crises in the past, such as the pandemic and the May 2021 Riots.  Mosaica uses this network to prevent violence and de-escalate potentially explosive situations in dozens of cities and towns across Israel and across the world, across Europe and beyond. Mosaica provides proactive intervention - working with community leaders to provide real time support, monitoring online posts in Hebrew and Arabic, and defusing tensions to prevent violence. The impact has been significant, with thousands of direct beneficiaries and hundreds of thousands more indirectly affected by these efforts. The ongoing conflict has brought to light the deep-rooted fear, anger, and resentment simmering between Israeli communities, where many residents have personal connections to soldiers, hostages, and victims of the war. Mosaica aims to rebuild and sustain trust between communities, leaders, and authorities, ensuring that communication channels remain open and effective. As Israel faces the continued threat of conflict, cooperation between citizens and authorities is more vital than ever to ensure safety and stability. Our model of trust-building, which has been in place since the war began, will be expanded to meet these challenges, with round-the-clock coordination and intervention to address emerging threats.
