To plant life in the memory of the fallen
Donors: 182
A vineyard among the guards at Nofei Reihan Farm, planted among ancient agricultural remains of a vineyard from the Mishnah and Talmud periods. The vineyard will not only be a place of remembrance, but also a center for community activity: workshops to document the stories of the fallen, tours for students and guests, outdoor cultural events, and winemaking that will contribute to a meaningful commemoration of the continuation of learning, reflection, and action.
"Join us in planting roots of hope. Every donation – large or small – is a pillar in building their legacy. Together, we will transform the land they protected into a place of life."
Major Saar Margolis (retired Kissufim rabbi): fought bravely in a 12-hour battle at Kibbutz Kissufim until his last moments and fell while trying to rescue hostages. Sergeant Ram Meir Batitto (Golani soldier): fought bravely in a 10-hour battle at Kibbutz Kissufim until his last moments. He strove to influence and lead change in Israeli society. In his last conversation with his mother Dikla during the battle, he said: "I love you and I'm sorry if I hurt you."
Lt. Col. Yitev Lev Halevi (IDF fighter): Fell in battle in Tulkarm against a Hamas squad that carried out significant attacks and murdered Israelis. During the October 7th, he rescued hostages in the city of Ofakim. He sacrificed his life in the battle, a symbol of boundless loyalty and dedication. *Major Ror Elton (IDF fighter): Fell in battle at the Shaar Negev junction on October 7th when he arrived with a squad of fighters to help rescue the besieged in the Sderot police station. "I'm coming, brother" was the motto of his life. This is how he identified a large explosive device that threatened the force, shouted "explosion" and attacked it with bare hands in order to save his brother-in-arms.
