Save the Children – A Ray of Light in the Darkness A reality of suffering, fear, and the opportunity for change For many years, hundreds of children have been forced to grow up within the cult "Lev Tahor" – an extreme and rigid group founded in Israel during the 1980s. In this cult, known for its fundamentalist and radical beliefs, the children were forced to live in a reality of isolation, poverty, and severe abuse. They struggled every day with fear and exhaustion, with some being forcibly taken at a very young age. One survivor described, "Every day feels as if I am living in a war, with no hope for tomorrow." What Happened in Guatemala? – The Raid That Changes Lives In December 2024, after years of exposing horrors and lies, Guatemalan welfare authorities raided the cult's compound. Thanks to powerful testimonies from four brave survivors, they managed to rescue at least 160 children and teenagers from the suffocating system. The children were transferred to protective facilities, and the operation marked the beginning of the rehabilitation process – though it is only the first step on the road to complete liberation. Mother Libi – A Story of Love, Pain, and Hope Behind every number lies a story. Mother Libi is one of the women who has fought all her life to bring her children back home. Four of her children, who were separated from her years ago and taken into the cult "Lev Tahor," earned full custody after a prolonged legal battle – and now custody orders are on their way to Israel. "I am excited and hopeful that soon I will be able to see my children again," she shares in a trembling voice. However, the road to their freedom involves enormous costs that she cannot finance alone. The Costs – Every Donation Brings Hope Closer 🚨 Breakdown of the Rescue Costs: • Children's flight tickets: 4 tickets × $1,500 = $6,000 • Mother's flight ticket: Round-trip = $2,000 • Accommodation and living expenses in Guatemala: For the mother and children until the return flight = $2,500 • Local lawyer's fees: $3,000 per child × 4 = $12,000 💡 Total: $22,500 = 81,000 NIS The Cult "Lev Tahor" – The History That Illuminates the Need for Change The cult "Lev Tahor," which aimed to separate its members from the outside world and instill anti-Zionist beliefs, operated for years under absolute control and emotional manipulation. The belief that the world outside the cult was a source of suffering and corruption led to children and teenagers being forced to endure an unimaginable reality of seclusion and abuse. During its operation, the cult also witnessed underage marriages and human trafficking, turning into a kind of hell where hope was nearly forgotten. Today, thanks to the raid, we are moving closer to real change – a change that can save lives. Let’s Give Them a New Future These children can no longer continue to live in a cycle of suffering. Every donation you make is a ray of light that brings them one step closer to a secure future, filled with love and support at home. Help us break the cycle of pain and bring the children back home! Let’s create real change. Every shekel, every donation is a promise for a better future for the children who have suffered so much. Together, we will bring light into the lives of those who need it the most.
