Drops in the Ocean Initiatives

Drops in the Ocean is an initiative that provides targeted support to families affected by the war – bereaved families, families of hostages, and families of the wounded. Our goal is to identify everyday needs that often do not receive adequate support from the state or existing systems and to help, whenever possible, those facing a painful and challenging reality. Our support focuses on practical and feasible solutions—small gestures that, for the families, can make a significant difference in crucial moments. Beyond the assistance itself, we believe that even through small acts, families should feel that someone sees them, cares about them, and is thinking of them. Over time, we have learned that sometimes a simple, well-timed response can be far more impactful than we initially imagined. Examples of initiatives within Drops in the Ocean: • Weekly meal deliveries for bereaved families, families of hostages, and families of the wounded, where mothers with young children at home are facing an unimaginable reality. In 2025, we aim to support 200 families through this initiative. • Financial aid and assistance in finding housekeepers and cleaning staff during particularly challenging periods. We cannot change reality, but we can be there—just a little, exactly when needed. Join us in supporting the Drops in the Ocean initiatives.
