Mechon Sha'arei Limud - Yerushalayim

Mechon Sha'arei Limud is a very serious kollel in Eretz Yisroel, well-known because of its intense Mif’al Hashas program. Kollel members diligently learn a blatt of Gemara/Rashi/Tosefos every day with periodic review, and are tested on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Stipends depend on strict adherence to attendance rules, non-stop learning and achievement on the tests. The kollel in the past was known as “Kollel Boston” for English speaking ba’alei teshuva. It continues to attract learners who originate from the U.S. and other places outside of Israel. The Rebbeim, Rabbi Aschkenasy and Rabbi Carmell shlit”a, are especially attuned to their needs and offer them training and advice.
