Clownbulance – An Ambulance That Heals the Soul

I’m Smadar Harpak , a medical clown with the Dream Doctors Project. In 2015, I founded the Clownbulance, a special vehicle dedicated to making children's dreams come true as part of their healing journey. For a decade, the Clownbulance has been fulfilling dreams for sick children, and since the war began, we have extended our mission to children affected by the October 7th attacks—children who returned from captivity, those who lost their parents, and those who have endured unimaginable trauma. Through Wish Days, we take children and their families out of the hospital, creating unforgettable experiences that restore joy, strength, and hope. Since the war began on October 7th, we’ve been supporting evacuated and traumatized children from the Gaza border region The Clownbulance now provides them with a much-needed escape, a chance to dream again, and to regain a sense of control over their live.
