Sal Manot 2025🤩🥳In memory of Yakir Yamin Hexter Hy"d and Yosef Malachi Guedalia Hy"d in their lifetime thay took part in the organization's work one food basket (sal manot) = 150 nisThis year, once again, we are fulfilling the mitzvah of Matanot LaEvyonim through the "Sal Manot"—distributing food baskets and Mishloach Manot to families in need (on Purim itself)❤️  The "Ma'avirim Kadima" (Passing Forward) organization was established by social activists in order to help families in need, being an address for social initiatives in the field of welfare, with an emphasis on youth initiatives. In the last two years, under the growing needs that the corona pandemic created, there has been a significant increase in youth initiatives in the field of welfare which are held under the umbrella of the organization. Our main project - "Out of the Circle" (Mehutz La'Magal) - works on stopping the cycle of poverty and need that is passed from generation to generation, and help families achieve financial independence. Each family that is cared for by the organization has an accompanying person who is in continuous and long-term contact with the family. Today, most of the families receiving help are single parents and at least second-generation families in need The organization is managed and operated only by volunteers. (There are no salaried employees in the organization.) Currently, the organization coordinates about 12 projects, with about 200 volunteers; most of whom are youth and some are active in more than one project. The organization operates mainly in Jerusalem and the surrounding area. In addition to the on-going activity, there are periodic projects to which a designated contribution can be made, such as: "Equal Start" - The project provided a fully supplied schoolbag to children from needy families (recognized by the Jerusalem welfare department) who are unable to purchase basic school supplies so that they too can return to school happily like everyone else. A donation of NIS 100 = a kit for a student. The kit includes: a backpack, a pencil case, a pack of pencils, a pack of notebooks, pens, scissors, an eraser, a glue stick, a ruler, a sharpener and more… All income will go for helping family leave the poverty circle and support youth tzdaka projects for the same cause.  ***
