9215 Battalion

We are the soldiers of the Reservist Tank Battalion 9215. On October 7th, we answered the urgent call to arms. After days of protecting the Northern border, we were redeployed to strengthen the southern theatre. As the first reserve battalion to maneuver in the Gaza Strip, we played a critical role in the battles. Notably, we forged the Netzarim corridor, splitting the Gaza Strip and enabling a secure, effective offensive passage for IDF forces. We are now called upon once again for a defensive mission in the southern sector of the Gaza Envelope. Our unit is unique, comprising soldiers from all parts of Israeli society, representing various religions, communities, and walks of life. Our ranks include young soldiers fresh from mandatory service, grandfathers whose children are also in the reserves, and even veterans who fought in the Yom Kippur War of 1973. Today, we are launching a crowdfunding campaign to bolster IDF support efforts, easing the difficulties our soldiers face in current and future conflicts. This includes aiding wounded soldiers, those who have left everything behind to defend our country, and those struggling financially. We are embarking crowdfunding campaign to strengthen the aid to the soldiers and their families - from paying for babysitting hours and to help any need that arises from the families we left behind, to take care of the commemoration and legacy, to maintain and strengthen our cohesion and motivation to continue to stand up and defend our country. The campaign is through The Upper Gallille Leadership Academy, they agreed to help us with the platforn in order to get tax deduction for our donors.
