The war has made things worse, with anxiety and instability affecting thousands of elderly people. The Israeli government recorded a 300% rise in requests for mental health support from the elderly. For the past three years, over 2,000 seniors received therapy from Elah, funded by the Ministry of Social Equality. But the budget is gone. Seniors in need can no longer get therapy, despite its proven effectiveness in reducing anxiety and improving resilience.
