Help Michelle Smile Again

Michelle is only three years old – and she’s already been through so much. A beautiful Malinois – smart, alert, full of energy, and overflowing with love. The kind of dog who jumps straight into your arms, connects instantly with everyone she meets – adults and children alike. A dog who’s just waiting for the chance to give love and receive it back. She’s been with us in the shelter for over a year now, waiting for a home. But before that, Michelle spent nearly two years alone – living outside, hungry, exposed to the elements. Sometimes people ignored her. Sometimes they bullied her. Dogs like Michelle, who survive on their own for so long, often start to show signs of physical decline far too young. And now, Michelle is in pain. She struggles to eat. Her face has swollen. The pain is starting to overcome her playful spirit. Our volunteers took her to the vet – and we got the difficult news: A severe infection and serious dental deterioration. Michelle urgently needs major dental work, including the removal of 7–10 teeth. Some require X-rays. She’s already started antibiotics, and afterward she’ll need special nutrition, medication, and likely a short hospitalization of 1–2 days to recover outside the shelter. 💰 Cost of treatment: 3,000 NIS – and the hard truth is: we just don’t have it. KLAVLOVE is run entirely by volunteers. Every dollar we raise goes to the care and well-being of the dogs. We’re the ones who care, day after day, for dogs that the world has forgotten. But now, with adoptions at a near standstill and our organization still trying to recover from the financial impact of the war, we simply can’t cover urgent medical cases like this alone.
