Protect Har Nof - Stop the Towers

Residents of Har Nof and friends, We are facing an unprecedented threat to our quality of life and safety. A plan to build massive towers in the heart of Hai Taib street threatens to destroy the last remaining open area and access to fresh air and panoramic views. Why is this struggle critical for all of us? • Danger to human life on the roads: Adding hundreds of vehicles to Hai Taib street— where a neighborhood resident was already killed at a crosswalk — is reckless. The plan cuts across sidewalks in a sensitive area, opposite a children’s park, and creates dangerous blind spots. • Suffocating the green lung: This is the only public area that provides direct access to the Jerusalem Forest and open scenic views. The construction will break the continuity of the Promenade, block the natural flow of clean air from the neighborhood’s last open space, and leave us trapped in a dense, closed-in neighborhood. • Collapse of infrastructure: Heavy traffic congestion, air pollution, and damage to the peaceful community character of the neighborhood are costs we will all pay every day. We need you with us! The struggle against an “aggressive developer” taking over public space, requires resources to fund legal support and expert opinions.
