THE GOAL Creating a fresh vision for Israeli society, one that embraces all communities, fosters cooperation, equity, and growth, and reshapes governance to truly reflect our communities' needs. At a time of growing challenges, we see an opportunity to explore new paths to enhance our governance system, foster connection among communities, and effectively respond to evolving local and regional challenges. ACCESSING FEDERALIST SOLUTIONS Federalism offers greater powers for local government divides authority between national and local governments, ensuring decisions are closer to affected communities. It promotes inclusivity, democracy, and effective management of regional differences. Learning from global experiences, federalism offers increased local decision-making alongside a strong national identity, providing stability and better representation. OUR INITIATIVE Committed to identifying practical ways to integrate federalist principles into Israel’s existing governance framework. Rather than creating an entirely new system, we focus on incremental reforms that respond directly to the evolving needs of our communities. EXPLORING BEYOND Federal models also offer new possibilities for addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Regional solutions. By exploring governance structures that balance national self determination with shared governance, ranging from confederations, federations, or other forms of structured partnership, we can promote security, autonomy, and cooperation between communities, laying the groundwork for sustainable peace. ACTIVE PROJECTS: Decentralization Forum Shaping the future through enhanced governance to meet the needs of our communities. Federal Forum Addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with tailored models ranging from confederation to federation and Regional solutions. Young Federalists Joining for the Future, building a vibrant movement. Civil Democracy Promoting Civil Democracy mechanisms as part of broader social and governmental reform processes. Strategic Regional Solutions Expanding opportunities and cooperation in the Middle East. Strategic Regional Solutions Advancing opportunities and fostering cooperation across the Middle East. Women, Peace, and Security Designing a comprehensive program to train women in federalism as a framework for conflict resolution, alongside the implementation of grassroots initiatives that promote equality and sustainable peace. ACTIVITIES: * Increase awareness through education, workshops, and materials. * Advocate legislative reform and build influential coalitions. * Develop innovative conflict-resolution models and enhance forums. * Create platforms for civic engagement and support social initiatives. * Form strategic partnerships locally and internationally. * Empower youth via training, networks, and public engagement. * Deliver training programs in the Hub's core framework of Conflict Transformation methodologies.
