Ari's Light

Route 443, the road connecting Tel Aviv-Jerusalem, is an important and sensitive route. IDF soldiers and border police are deployed along the road at military bases, road blocks, and training camps. Established in memory of Ari Fuld, may he rest in peace, ‘Ari’s Light’ operates a network of volunteers who visit the soldiers throughout the year, and especially during the Jewish holidays, to encourage and support them, boost their morale and provide them with a joyful holiday experience. In addition, the accommodation and support center for lone soldiers ensures that no soldier remains alone during the holidays (nor on any Shabbat) when off duty. The cultural department of ‘Ari’s Light’ holds cultural and traditional events for soldiers at their bases. As the Purim and Passover holidays approach, ‘Ari’s Light’ would like to ask its friends, acquaintances, and the general public to take part in supporting the soldiers and commemorating Ari, may his memory be a blessing.
