Sam’s Bar Mitzvah – A Celebration of Giving

For my Bar Mitzvah project, I have chosen to help raise money for Brothers for Life – an organization that supports wounded IDF (Israel Defense Forces) combat soldiers.  This decision reflects my solidarity with Israel and those who have sacrificed so much. It also has personal meaning because I have family members that have served, currently serve and will serve in the IDF. Brothers for Life is a nonprofit founded by injured combat soldiers for injured combat soldiers. It offers life-changing peer support, cutting-edge medical care, mentoring, and empowering programs that help these heroes on their journey of physical and emotional recovery. The lives of our brave soldiers, and their families, have been forever altered in defense of Israel and the Jewish People.
