They may be called lone soldiers - but in Golani, they are never truly alone.
Over 250 lone soldiers serve in the Golani Brigade today.
Most are young Israelis with no family support, standing on their own during the moments when everyone else has a home to return to.
The Friends of Golani Association provides them with personal support throughout their service: basic supplies for army life, help with housing needs, guidance, holiday gifts, and a true sense of belonging.
