Hello,
My name is Yagel-Hay Ravid and I am a member of the Israeli National Archery Team.
I started my path in archery at the age of 10, following in the footsteps of my father and older brother. For 3 years, I trained and developed within one of the association's clubs, until one day everything grinded to a halt, when I was diagnosed with cancer and entered a long and prolonged period of treatment. It wasn’t easy, but with the help of inner strength, the support of my family and a lot of faith, I defeated the disease. One thing was clear to me throughout the entire process: I am returning to archery, stronger, more focused and with a clear goal of realizing my potential in the sport, both locally and internationally, and competing in the Olympic Games.
To realize this ambition, I’m required to invest many hours in training, accompanied by considerable financial expenses for equipment, travel, nutrition, a package of supportive and assisting treatments, and more.
As of today, I’m preparing for two critical international competitions that I’m a candidate for as part of my personal development plan and to gain experience and establish my status in the international arena. The first is the European Youth Cup to be held in Slovenia. The second is the World Youth Championships in Canada. These two competitions require high financial coverage for the costs of the flights, accommodation, registration, participation and equipment, which for budgetary reasons is not fully covered by the association, and amounts to tens of thousands of shekels that I must finance from my own pocket and with family assistance.
To this end, I need your help and support. Any donation, small or large, that will help me cover these costs and allow me to participate, achieve the goals that have been set for me, and bring achievement and respect to the sport and the country, will be much appreciated.
Together, with perseverance, uncompromising hard work and your support, I’ll be able to realize my potential, break through the boundaries and go as far as possible.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and trust.
