The heroines behind the heroes

We are a group of 15 womans - wifes and mothers setting out on a journey. Since October 7th, our partners have been often called up for reserve duty, sent to the frontline both in the south and the north of the country. A group of brave soldiers who answer the call each time, without any hesitation. After nearly two years of supporting our heroic partners — we too, the women, need a journey of processing and healing at these difficult times. We’ve been struggling all this time. We are the partners who stayed behind — with the kids, the everyday worry, and the loneliness. Almost two years with little sleep. Living in uncertainty. Being both mom and dad. Putting our needs aside. Holding the family together. And now, after these long months, we feel that we need the time to process what we have been going through. A time to heal. Panama — yes, far away — opened up to us as a rare gift. A place that will host us for six days of peace, workshops, sisterhood, and healing. All fully covered — except the flights. To get there, we need to raise money for the plane tickets. We invite you to be part of our journey. We will be grateful for any donation that will help one more woman — a mother, a partner of a soldier — catch a breath after two incredibly difficult years strengthening the family unit and the community.
