🐾 The Israeli Cat Lovers Association – Caring for Community Cats Since 1966 🐾Founded in 1966, the Israeli Cat Lovers Association has been working tirelessly in the Greater Haifa area to improve the lives of community cats – with compassion, responsibility, and a deep sense of mission. We were among the first organizations in Israel to promote the TNR method (Trap–Neuter/Spay–Return) as the only humane and effective solution to the uncontrolled growth of the street cat population. TNR not only prevents the suffering of countless sick and dying kittens – it also improves the quality of life for every neutered/spayed cat: 🐱 Healthier 🐱 Longer life expectancy 🐱 Calmer, friendlier, and often more beautiful In parallel, we provide veterinary assistance to members of the public who encounter injured or sick cats in need of urgent care. We believe that public awareness and education are essential. We work to educate people of all ages – from schoolchildren to the general public – through lectures, media, and social networks. 💡 Our organization is 100% volunteer-based. We have no paid staff. Everything we do is powered by dedication and love.
