Where Their Bravery Will Live Forever. The Maglan Unit has lost 54 heroic soldiers — brave fighters who gave their lives defending Israel. Today, we are launching a one-of-a-kind project: the creation of a new Memorial and Heritage Center at the heart of the unit's base — a powerful, innovative space for remembrance, connection, and reflection. The new center will include: • An immersive, multimedia memorial experience • An open-air amphitheater for meaningful gatherings • Memory paths shaded by olive trees and heritage stations • A place for soldiers, bereaved families, and visitors from Israel and abroad to reflect and connect This is a project unlike anything the IDF has ever seen.
